The Warsaw Office Tower takes the stage on the capital city’s skyline as a confident player. It stands out prominently from the surrounding office and commercial buildings in both dimension and design.
The identifying features of the tower’s exterior are the graded height of the building and the transparent three-dimensional curved skin enveloping the entire structure. As a fully-glazed and elegant sheath, the skin covers the steel-reinforced concrete substructure. By varying the alignment of the shell on each floor and distorting the shape of the exterior glass panes, the façade appears to vibrate across the full height of the building in a web-like fabric of fine white thread. The double-layered façade ensures maximum transparency and visual depth throughout the building. The interior configuration of the tower is the same on all floors in accordance with the principle of specific neutrality, featuring a highly efficient central hub comprised of two staggered cuboids on each floor.
The wave-like exterior shell produces slight variations in the respective floor plans, although each space permits multifunctional layouts including cellular, open plan or cubicle offices and any combination thereof. Special use zones such as the conference area, restaurant or sky lobby not only serve to organize the tower, but also activate the terraces created by the graded height of the building.
