The architectural concept is based on the idea of transforming an archetypal building of transforming form derived from the bearby gable-roofed terraced houses in such a way as to create a special, iconographically memorable volume.
The choice of homogeneously coloured materials underlines this aspect of the chrch building. The materials used in the façade surfaces are simple and vary depending on tehri location. In areas for secular usage, the format and positioning of the windows becomes increasingly similar to the neighbouring residential buildings. The church´s interior is clad in perforated wooden panels and contrasts a suitably proprtioned space to accomadate the congregation with the building´s abstract, sculptural exterior. The approximaty square basic shape of the interior and the use of individual chairs provides the parish with extremely flexible usage options and a wide variety of spatial orientations.
