The architectural concept is based on the principle of spatial networking. An open market square on the ground floor connects the open spaces and serves as a social centre for guests and employees. Focused work, learning and collegial collaboration are also visible from the outside.

The façade is characterised by the sequencing of the spatial modules, in particular the transforming gallery gardens. At the same time, it features a clear, regular order that describes the complex overall figure, consisting of differentiated façade layers that differ in their arrangement and surface texture.

Thanks to the diverse processing methods used for the concrete material, the individual layers of the relief were each given their own unique haptics.
 

The roof, conceived as a fifth façade, serves as an extended outdoor space, offers views of Ulm Minster, and also forms an attractive counterpart to the neighboring buildings situated higher up the slope. The building volume integrates harmoniously into the site, which is characterized by varying height contours. As a continuous band, it connects the surrounding green spaces with the plot. It defines a central entrance area; ground-floor retail units contribute to the long-term activation and vitality of the site.
